Fleetwood residents urged to ‘stay vigilant’ after suspicious man entered home at 3am

Residents are being urged to “stay vigilant” after a man was spotted entering a house at 3am.

Lancashire Police said a stranger entered the rear of a house on Beach Road in Fleetwood through the garden in the early hours of Tuesday morning (July 9), then quickly fled the scene when he realised he was being filmed and switched on his security lights.




Fleetwood officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the “suspicious” incident, and are urging residents in the area to “remain vigilant” and ensure gates, windows and doors are locked at night.

Officers have released surveillance photos of the man they wanted to identify.

In a statement, Fleetwood Area Police said: “Do you know this man? We would like to speak to the man in the photo as we believe he may be able to assist us with reports of suspicious circumstances.

“On July 9 at approximately 3am it was reported that a male had entered the rear of a residential property via a garden in the Beach Road area of ​​Fleetwood. They quickly left the property when they realised they were being filmed and security lights were switched on.

“Please remain vigilant and ensure gates, windows and doors are locked this evening. Any information regarding this man can be provided by emailing [email protected]. Log reference LC-20240709-0304”
