House fire in Tecoma treated as suspicious




House fire in Tecoma treated as suspicious

A house fire in Tecoma caused chaos on Thursday morning, with CFA and police attending the scene.

A CFA spokesman said: “CFA units were alerted to a house fire at Clifford Grove, Tecoma at approximately 7.15am on 11th July.”

“Crews from Bayswater, Sassafras, Belgrave and Upwey attended the scene.”

At the scene, CFA crews found the house engulfed in flames.

A CFA spokesman said: “Firefighters entered the building and attempted to extinguish the fire.”

“Victoria Police also attended the scene. The incident is being treated as suspicious and is being investigated.”

“At 7:38 a.m. the situation was deemed to be under control, and at 8:38 a.m. the situation was deemed safe.”
