Authorities investigate suspicious death at Takoradi hotel

Henry Yeleduor, the regional director of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) Western Region, has confirmed that his office is working with the police to investigate the death of Loise Abena Koranteng, who was found in the swimming pool at the CrisLord Palace Hotel in Takoradi.

Loise Abena Koranteng, 24, checked into the CrisLord Palace Hotel on June 7, 2024, with her boss and another company employee.

Sadly, the next morning she was found dead in the hotel pool.

Reports suggest that the hotel’s surveillance cameras were not working the week of the incident, adding to the mystery surrounding her death.

The lack of surveillance footage has raised concerns about the circumstances of her death.

The incident garnered significant attention on social media, with many people questioning the details of what happened, as well as why it took a month for news of the incident to come to light.

Delays in releasing information have sparked speculation and concern among the public.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Yeleduor stated that the Ghana Tourism Authority is working closely with the police and hotel management to thoroughly investigate the matter and uncover the truth behind the death of Loise Abena Koranteng.
